I loathe cleaning. I know there are some people that truly enjoy it, but I honestly dislike cleaning. I LOVE having a clean home, I just hate all the stuff I need to do in order to get a clean home. I also have four cats, a dog, we live over a very busy (dusty) parking lot and we get direct sunlight. My home is "dust central".
There are so many cleaning products on the market these days. Some I grew up with because my mom used them, others are new to the market and are considered more Earth friendly and healthier for you and your family.
One of the products I grew up with is Pledge. My mom always used Pledge Furniture Polish. I grew up on that sweet lemon smell. Today I still use Pledge because if my mom trusted it then so should I. However I never stopped to learn more about the products I use in my home. After having the opportunity to learn more about Pledge I have committed myself to researching all the products I use in my home to find out the pros and cons.
Did you know that 90% of American homes are chuck full of allergens, pet dander, dust mites and pollen. That is a scary statistic. Using Pledge helps to reduce the presence of allergens by trapping and removing them. This certainly inspires me to dust more.
Nearly two in five adults admit that they have never checked their homes for mold or other household allergens. Since these allergens can pose a serious health threat it's important to check your home regularly for the health and safety of your family.
Pledge removes up to 84% of dangerous household allergens.
Here is an interesting fact I also learned. Nearly two thirds of adults say that their families spend the most time in the living room yet fewer then half of the people polled dust the living room on a weekly basis. You'd think if it was the one room where you family always gathered that you would make an effort to keep it as clean as possible.
Mostly everyone thinks that a dusty home is a dirty home, but how many people understand the potential for serious health hazards a dusty home can cause too?
Not only does Pledge Furniture Polish help clean your furniture and remove dust, dirt and smudges but it always helps to remove these horrible allergens from your home.
Looks like my mother did know best when it came to using Pledge to clean our home.

I am a lifelong Pledge user (my mom used it). I use Pledge Natural Beauty for all of my furniture...it really works well. (Most of the "wood" furniture is in the dining room so that is primarily the room that I use it in the most.

My dining room could really use the Pledge Furniture Polish...we go in there so rarely, it's often dusty. Thanks

The Pledge Extra Moisturizing would be perfect for a desk that I inherited from my grandmother. Its pretty old, and this would keep the wood from drying out and cracking.

The pledge multi-surface would be great for my kitchen countertops.

My living room can use some of their great Pledge dusters. That is the best thing they ever came out with. Thank you!

I love the multi-surface Pledge with the lavender scent. I tried this new multi-surface already and it's fabulous...you can use it just about anywhere! I used it around my computer area.
Hi - I would use this in the dining room (I actually already do). Love pledge!

The fabric sweeper for pet hair would be perfect for furniture - and maybe the clothing of pet owners!
