American Brownie Company Review & Giveaway (YUMMY!)

Ooey Gooey Turtle...Chocolate Espresso...Chocolate Banana...Triple Peanut Butter Blondie...

I bet I have your attention now? Ha Ha.

Brownies... who doesn't love brownies? They are ooey, gooey bundles of sweet decadence. Yumm!

I know a lot of people do a lot of baking this time of year. Usually people have more cookies then they know what to do with. But what about brownies? It's not often that people bake and give out brownies this time of year. Personally I adore brownies and I wish someone would come knocking at my door with a plate full of brownies to wish Happy Holidays. I think brownies would make a great holiday gift for a co-worker, friend or neighbor. I'm sure your mailman or UPS driver would love a gift box filled with brownies. Brownies would go great on a holiday buffet dessert table.

Sadly some of us (myself especially) can't bake, especially brownies. I almost always burn them to the point where they are more like pieces of charcoal then delicious brownie. Therefore I have to rely on other sources for my baked goodies.

They just sound too good to be true. Even looking at images of the brownies makes me want to jump into my screen and taste them.

The American Brownie Company sent me some of their amazing brownies to sample for this review. My kids were especially excited for the brownies to arrive. I have to laugh when I think back to the moment I opened the box. Both of my kids commented on how small the brownies were (they were expecting huge brownies like from the deli across the street). I told them that sometimes looks are deceiving. Besides the "tower" brownies are purposely made smaller then the regular brownies you can get.

The brownies are small in size but what they lack in size they more then make up for in taste and richness. There is a reason why they are small in size. That is because the brownies are very thick and rich. They remind me a lot like fudge. They are true brownies, but they are rich and thick like fudge. Trust me... a little goes a long way. If these brownies were an average brownie size it would be "overkill". Their size is perfect because it gives you all the amazing taste without over doing it.

The American Brownie Company sent me the Gourmet Brownie & Blondie "Tower" collection which features five amazing varieties.

Dark Chocolate - Classic brownie taste.

Day & Night - Classic rich brownie with sweet vanilla frosting.

White Chocolate Walnut - You can really taste the walnut in this brownie. The flavor is more vanilla then chocolate. This one went especially great with a glass of cold milk.

German Chocolate - This one tasted a lot like the Dark Chocolate brownie with a bit of a coconut flavor.

Chocolate Peanut Butter - Yummy! Reminded me of Reeces Pieces. The peanut butter flavor was subtle and not over powering.

These are gourmet brownies. They would be idea to serve with a cup of tea or coffee after a holiday meal. Place one of the brownies on fancy china and you have an elegant presentation that will have your guests "oo'ing" and "ahh'ing". Each brownie is the perfect size. You could even set them all out on a platter and let your guests serve themselves.

Honestly, I think the American Brownie Company brownies make a better gift or after dinner treat then something you would stuff in your child's lunchbox for school. These are brownies for "grown ups". I did let my children have some of the brownies but I think they would be better appreciated by adults. Children tend to gobble things up without taking a moment to savor what they are eating. These brownies truly need to have each bit savored and enjoyed.

My entire family is giving the brownies from the American Brownie Company two thumbs up, five stars and a perfect ten (LOL).
