The Last Airbender & Bazooka Givaway ($100 Prize Package!)

Has anyone seen the movie The Last Airbender yet? I have seen the previews. It looks awesome, especially because it's in 3-D. I have only seen one other 3-D movie and it was a cartoon. I can't imagine seeing a live action film in 3-D.

I have not seen the movie yet, and I'm not really familiar with what it is about, however I was able to get this brief description from
Yahoo movies.

Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara, a Waterbender, and her brother Sokka to restore balance to their war-torn world.

The Last Airbender sounds like my kind of movie. I love Sci-Fi, Fantasy and action movies and this movie looks like it's a combination of all those genres.

Check out this movie trailer. For those of you reading this via e-mail or RSS you can
CLICK HERE to view the trailer another clips on Yahoo Movies.

You can also view the trailer and learn more about the movie at it's official website, http://www.thelastairbendermovie.com/. The official site has downloads, gallery, games and more.

I REALLY need to start going to the movies more often. LOL! I bet this movie is a million times better on the big screen (theater) rather then viewing it on the small screen (TV).

In honor of the release of The Last Airbender, Paramount and Bazooka Candy Brands would like to offer a special giveaway package for TWO lucky She Scribes readers. I can't say that I'm not jealous. LOL! My kids would flip for this prize package, especially for the candy.

  1. Hmmm...I think I would like to bend water because I think that is one of the most useful of the elements. The movie looks good. I hope M. Night Shyamalan did the animated series justice, it was quite good.

  9. What a great question! I think the element I would most like to manipulate is earth. You can clear paths, smooth out land, etc. (for good) or block paths, create destruction, etc. (for bad). I think my husband would love this movie so I am sure we will end up going to see it. My son is five so I am contemplating if this is too scary for him!
    Thanks,

  15. I wish that I could bend water so that there would not be the fighting over water. Then the areas that have flooding could be evened out with the areas that are arid, and there wouldn't be the damage that comes with the flooding or the cost of bringing in water.

  29. I would have to say Earth because it's so powerful and strong. I would love to be able to shape the earth as the benders do in the animated series. Also, I have seen the movie and I thought it was good. The movie in no way deserves such low ratings. However, I wasn't fond of the mispronunciation of the main characters name.
